Good news for Astros Fans!
Not really if the off-season means anything. I talked to Astros General Manager Ed Wade today, I ask him about fans having a reason to be optimistic and hopeful for the up coming season. His answer pretty much what I expected. He said they don't give out trophy's for the off-season. That's good because the Astros appear to have finished near the bottom of teams that have any chance. Wade did add the Astros were one of the hottest teams in the big leagues the second half of the season and that gives us hope that they'll start that way this season. They basically have the same team, sure they've added a few new faces, but do we really expect them to blow past the Cubs or even the Brewers in the NL Central. Wade told me they have more upside that last season, we can only hope so. It is a long six month journey and anything can happen. Let's just hope its not a long... long summer....
