GIVE YAO BIG MONEY?

Yao Ming has gone down with injury each of the last 4 seasons. Yao Ming can opt out of his contract with the Rockets after the coming season. Should the Rockets give him a max-contract? Better than 100 million for a guy who breaks down every season? On the other hand, when he plays he may be the best center in the league and Les Alexander makes an awful lot of money because of Yao and the various deals he has with Chinese companies. In addition, Yao keeps the Rockets profile high around the world, most especially in China. So, should they continue to be in the Yao Ming business?
