Mario out for season.. Where do the Texans go from here?
Mario Williams will have surgery this week to repair a torn pectoral tendon. He's been placed on Injured Reserve his season is over. A freak injury that occurred when Mario sacked Jason Campbell. Two questions now, who will replace Williams and will the Texans resign Mario after this season? The answer to the first is easy, Rookie Brooks Reed who played well yesterday. The answer to the second you would think so, but I see other teams actually offering more money than the Texans. We'll see down the road what do you think? And how much will the Texans miss Mario?

If the Texans are going to win, then we need a quarterback that can LEAD this team, with both PASSION & Heart. Schaub offers neither. I was so disappointed in the last play of the game Sunday against Oakland. Schaub...on the 5 yd. line (with no one in front of him) COULD have taken a couple of running steps and lunged forward for 6 points and the game. Of course he didnt and we lost, but WHAT if at the very LEAST he had of tried...he might of made it in. Even if he didnt, I would have felt better about him giving everything he had to WIN!! Yes, he has a strong arm, and yes fairly accurate...But with no PASSION & Heart that type of QB is a dime a dz. What are some examples of PASSION & HEART, Drew Brees,Tom Brady,Phillip Rivers...Just to name a few, and of course Peyton Manning, he can slide FORWARD. Maybe Schaub should learn how to slide as well. I just feel like his team...OUR team gave their all last Sunday, and he DID NOT! He had the opportunity to WIN the game (Or at least TRY) and he let not only the fans down, but his team as well.

I agree very much so with Michele Barrett. We need a mobile QB.Schaub plays like a washed up QB that was brought in to play for an injured starting QB. Sort of like Collins. How long will it take for the coaches to wake up? When it's to late in the season to even think of playoffs? Maybe we need to start a petition to get rid of him if we want to save this season or we can always wait till next year or the next or the next. We've been waiting this long anyway. Schaub was a reject from the falcons and he plays like one. Hey, Bob Allen maybe you can bring it up tonight on the sports segement. But I doubt it. Anyway we've been there, done that, now it's time to get rid of the rat.
